I made a video tutorial on how to fold an origami paper crane. So if you don’t know how to but would like to learn, take a look! I am working on a major goal for which I am folding a 1000 paper cranes to give them away to random strangers in the hope it will make at least a few people smile.
(Bear with me as I am still in the process of learning about video editing and rendering and such, so no.. I didn’t plan those big black borders :p)
If you try to make a paper crane, I would love to hear feedback on if everything is clear or not :)
I did try to fold origami cranes once.... I guess my clumsy fingers and candy wrappers weren't the best possible combination, they turned out to be more like origami ducks :'D
ReplyDeletehaha well the first time I tried they looked horrible. It takes some practice but you get better at it.. :)
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteComplicated (at least for me :/), but beautiful.
Have a great week!
At first it might seem hard, but after a few times you will be able to do it blind-folded ;)
DeleteThanks for leaving feedback on my blog! I agree. : ]
ReplyDeleteI will have to try this later today. I've always had other people make me paper cranes so I never bothered to learn myself, but it would cool to be able to make them myself. And I am hoping you reach your 1,000 mark--I'm super interested to see what people think when you give them a crane!
Yeah me too. I'm a bit afraid for negative response.. but I'm sure at least some will value the idea ;)
DeleteThis is such a fun idea! I have always wanted to be able to fold these things, but have never been able to, even after looking at a book and trying it like, 500000 times. Maybe I'll try it again.
ReplyDeleteAnd... as far as the painting goes, I am waiting to hear back about a job right now, and if I get it... I will be emailing you for sure, because I really, really love your work!
I wish you all the best of luck with the job! And you can mail me any time ;)
Deleteso beautiful and such a great idea. great post, love. thanks so much for sharing. if you get a moment, I'd love to hear your thoughts on my latest. xo

ReplyDeleteI hope you feel a bit better again.. and that you had fun folding :)
Deletevery cute! I tried doing it but folded backwards! lol I'm Asian..I should be able to do this!
ReplyDeleteWhaha oh well. I also should be able to do 2 things at the same time because I am female and that never worked really well for me either ;)
DeleteYou're cute and so are your paper cranes! Well done. Will have to try to make one.
