DIY: How to fold an origami paper crane

I made a video tutorial on how to fold an origami paper crane. So if you don’t know how to but would like to learn, take a look! I am working on a major goal for which I am folding a 1000 paper cranes to give them away to random strangers in the hope it will make at least a few people smile.

(Bear with me as I am still in the process of learning about video editing and rendering and such, so no.. I didn’t plan those big black borders :p)

If you try to make a paper crane, I would love to hear feedback on if everything is clear or not :)

  1. I did try to fold origami cranes once.... I guess my clumsy fingers and candy wrappers weren't the best possible combination, they turned out to be more like origami ducks :'D

    1. At first it might seem hard, but after a few times you will be able to do it blind-folded ;)

  3. Thanks for leaving feedback on my blog! I agree. : ]

I will have to try this later today. I've always had other people make me paper cranes so I never bothered to learn myself, but it would cool to be able to make them myself. And I am hoping you reach your 1,000 mark--I'm super interested to see what people think when you give them a crane!

  4. This is such a fun idea! I have always wanted to be able to fold these things, but have never been able to, even after looking at a book and trying it like, 500000 times. Maybe I'll try it again.
And... as far as the painting goes, I am waiting to hear back about a job right now, and if I get it... I will be emailing you for sure, because I really, really love your work!
