This weekend the weather was great, so I went for a Sunday BBQ on the beach. I kind of did the exact same thing a couple of weeks ago as well, just didn’t take that many pictures then, so didn’t bother to share. Good ideas shouldn’t be limited to one-time events.
It was a perfect way to spend the day. I’ll take sandy burgers and sticky sunscreen hands any time over stew and mittens.
A barbeque on the beach is one of the best ways to spend a day! Bonfires on the beach in winter are a nice alternative ; ]
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are gorgeous! I especially love that last one. And I just cannot believe how many fully intact shells are on your beach shore. Ours look nothing like that here!
Yeah bonfires are great too, especially at the beach. Maybe I should start doing that when it gets colder ;)
DeleteThis looks like so much fun! I'm not a summer person, but I feel like a beach BBQ would turn that right around :)
ReplyDeleteHaha I bet it would ;) But then, I might be biased haha
DeleteLooks like the perfect thing to do these last couple of warm days :)
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm trying to get the most out of this last summer weather
DeleteI love that last photo with the seagulls, I'm normally more of an autumn fan but that picture is making feel all nostalgic for summer days on the beach!

Awesome! I think it also depends on the country. I do love all the colours in the fall. It's just that around here it can rain for days in a row and it's just grey and cold and sucky :p
DeleteWe just had our first 30 degree day here (Perth Australia). I can feel summer in the air and it's exciting.
ReplyDeleteI love summer
Wow that's great. Maybe I should move to Australia the other half of the year haha
DeleteI love the sun, I love the sea, I love the beach (I'm glad I live nearby one)! In short: I really love the summer too. And spring as well!
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to live nearby one. For me it is doable, but still quite a long ride..
DeleteI am like you,i LOVE summer. I'd take sweating and being too hot to do anything over being cold any time.
ReplyDeleteAlas, the autmn is upon us!

I know right? I love being able to just walk out of the door with a shirt on and no 1000 layers because it is so freaking cold!
DeleteAhh, Fall is actually my favorite season but I hate winter. This reminds me that I better get out and enjoy the nice weather we have left before it gets too cold!
ReplyDeleteYeah you should! At least that's what I try to do.. Although the coming days it's just gonna be rain rain rain already :(
DeleteSummer lasts too long in Kansas. I am ready for fall, but if I a nice beach near by, I bet I would feel different.
ReplyDeleteThis still took us a 2 hour drive I guess, but it was worth it! :)
Deletehow lovely! now that is something I would love to do, but we have no beaches, well, we have lakes which are on some beaches...so that could work!!! i like your photos a lot!!!
ReplyDeleteLakes are pretty awesome as well :) The drive is too long to do it often, but I do love going to the beach every now and then :)
DeleteYour pics are so pretty! Makes me sad that summer is almost officially over.
ReplyDeleteI love these photos!
