Past Project: Craft closet makeover

I thrifted this big closet, put shelves and doors in it and painted it turquoise. I use it to store my art and craft supplies. Actually the before picture isn’t exactly correct; it was this weird color of salmon, the white is already a first ground layer of paint. I think I undertook this project about two years ago, but I am still really happy with how it turned out and I like having all my supplies together.

    Love it.

    I would REALLY need something for storing my craft supplies, but something smaller, because we don't have much space left over in our apartment. :(

      Well, this is actually the cupboard I have in my room at my parents place.. It wouldn't fit in my room here either. Which is too bad.

    It is awesome that you added your own doors and I have to say I am pretty partial to the color, one of my very favorites.

    Right now I have an art room where I keep all of my things in a desk/dresser/bookshelf and in various containers, but I definitely need to work on the organization aspects.

      I always feel pretty tough when I take on big wood projects, but I think it turned out well.. I would love to have an art room! perhaps one day, when I have my own house/appartment :)

    Aw this is so cute! I've actually been wanting to paint my armoire this color. Right now it houses both my art supplies and some jewelry as well. I might just have to take this on after seeing how lovely yours turned out:)
